E.L.F. Lipsticks

It's been a while since I've done my review on the e.l.f. glossy formulas I own (link here), where I also explained a bit about the e.l.f. 'basics' and the differences between their lines. Since that post, I had the time to try out a selection of their lipsticks. I chose one of each line - Studio, Mineral and Essential,

Nails of the night #3

A colour that's wearable in every season? That's an easy one; Watermelon by Barry M. I've spoken of this nailpolish before in my autumn nailpolishes post (link here). The colour is perfect, but hard to describe. A blue-seaweed-green-ocean-inspired colour maybe?

InstaBlur primer

It happened. I finally got around it and bought a primer. I don't know why it took me so long - I think I just didn't want to spend the money, but when you've got oily skin, a primer crosses your mind often. I read up on them and decided to try out the All-In-One Instablur Universal by The Body Shop.

Another Foundation?

Today I come to you with yet another foundation post. I am keen on trying out many different ones so that in the end, I may find that perfect gemstone drugstore foundation. Whenever I see a promotion, I snatch one up so I might try it in the future. This time it's the All matte plus - shine control make up foundation by Catrice (who else) I'm testing out.

Concealer Battle

Undereye-darkness is something I struggle with one the daily, but right now I feel like I am battling them harder than ever. In my 'Sick face' post I have already talked about this Bobbi Brown Corrector, But since this one is already pretty used, I thought I'd go on a mission to hunt down another concealer with the same purpose, but with a more affordable price tag. That's when I picked up Catrice's Camouflage Cream.

Lovely Lip Liner

It hasn't been too long since I've started to try out lip liners, mainly because the bulk of lipsticks I used are not that demanding of one. But as always, my most turned to brand when it comes down to trying out something new is Essence. So when I finally thought it was time for me to delve into that lip liner hole (that sounds weird...), I thought I'd give their lipliners a whirl.

My Blush Journey

It has not been a long time since I started wearing a blush - almost -  daily. I've got skin 'issues' which translated into me having very present red cheeks. By that I mean that I couldn't cover it up with any foundation that was within my budget. But now I'm being treated by a dermatologist and my 'situation' has improved tremendously.
Now that I'm able to slap a blush onto my cheecks, I thought I'd pick up the Miracle touch creamy blush by Max Factor in the shade soft pink.

(not so) Drastic Changes

Dear readers.
I'm going to start this post off with one question; How would you pronounce Soefaj?
I think many of you would come up with a different way and honestly, I understand. That's why I am going to make one simple change to the name of my blog. I'll substitute the J with a Y.

Flawless eyelids

A while ago I said that I was searching for my 'perfect' eyelid primer because my eyelids are very oily. Eyeshadows never stick on them as they should, mattes never stay matte and sometimes the more affordable ones just slide off - but maybe that's their fault...
When The Balm became more accessible here in Belgium (at DI), I picked up the Put a lid on it eyelid primer so I could give it a whirl.

Nails of the night #2

Whoop! Second instalment of my 'nails of the night' series! I'm proud of myself that I keep doing this :D Also, this post had to go up because it's concerning some LIMITED EDITION products! I saw them on display and realised I had to buy them straight away so if any of my readers like it, they can still but them, right?
The nail polish this is all about it from the new VISIONairy limited edition line of CATRICE.

No clumps in your lashes?

I didn't want to start the new year with a post like this, but my the one I wanted to do didn't happen because I don't have a lot of time at the moment. I'm studying and in two days I'll be having my first exam. So I'll just stick to plan B and throw out another review towards you guys! It's all about the Essence plump no clump deep black volume mascara and I'm sad to say it's won't be a very good one.
