February favourites 2015

Welcome to my first Favourites post! I am so excited to start with these that I'm barely able to hold my breath and do an introduction. Get ready to discover my absolute favourites of this month!

Just a little bit respect...

I know, I'm a bit late... But this is a post I really didn't want to rush so I decided to let it simmer a bit and write this when I was in the right 'zone'.
I want to talk to you guys about respect and what I feel and think when I hear this word. How the world seems to not care about it as much these days. Yes, very different from what I usually do, but I think it's something worth spreading.

Clarins lipstick

It has been a while since christmas, but this product has been with me since this period. I bought it for myself as a treat after  most of the festivities. What am I talking about, you ask? It's the Clarins Joli Rouge Lipstick in (705) Soft Berry. I picked it up because I wanted a natural, everyday kind of lipstick and isn't Clarins the brand just for that?

H&M mascara

I'm in a forever search for my holy grail mascara, preferably at an affordable price point. So last time I was waiting at the till at H&M and saw their Volume Mascara for only €2.99 I thought I'd pick it up and give it a whirl.

Frat Boy Blush

After all this time, I feel like I can finally form a proper opinion about blushes. I've experimented with creams, cream-to-powders and now, finally, I've been trying out this 'oldschool' powder blush. I'm talking about the Fratboy blush by TheBalm.

Catrice Lip Smoother

I'm not sure of my next statement, but I think I have found a dupe for the Clarins Instant light natural lip perfector. Why am I not sure you ask? Because I don't want to spend  around €15 on a  glossy type product I'll rarely use. When I was browsing the catrice dispaly, my eye always fell on their Beautifying lip smoother (€3.59) and I always wanted to see if I'd like this and maybe compare it to it's higher end 'sister' and though I won't be able to do the latter, I still want to share my thoughts on this product.

Nails Of The Night #4

Once again I come to you with a polish which has blown away my mind! I bought it on my last trip to Primark - in Brussels this time, though I like the one at Eindhoven better. It's a polis from the P.S. Love range, but I am not sure if there's a name on it... There are numbers (PS2764?), but a real name is nowhere to be found.

Jewelery Haul

Recently I bought a few jewelery pieces from the Etsy store JuliesJewelryHouse and I thought I'd share them here and tell you my thoughts on them. I've got three pairs of earrings (because I'm an addict) and a super cute reindeer necklace.

Travel Roundup: a weekend at Bruges

After my exams, my supermega-awesome boyfriend treated me to a trip to Bruges - including fancy hotel - to get me back to my least stresseful state. It worked wonders and I am so happy to have spend this weekend with him and discover this city in my own country that atracts people from all over the world.
