Nails Of The Night #9

I've got a pretty interesting topic on my NOTN today: stick-on nail wraps! I've had these bad boys in my stash for a while after buying them in some long forgotten sales and finally decided it was time to try them out! These are the Envy Nails by Elegant Touch - which I think aren't available anymore and are replaced by the Envy Wraps.

Before you tell me I did an awful job applying them, I want to tell you it was my first time ever to use nail wraps. I think I did a decent job. The fact that it was my first time, however, might have had an effect on the wear.

I did like the method of application. It does take some time, but if you've got some spare time or watch some videos applying, it's really not that bad. Especially if you think about how long it would take you if you would actually 'draw' the design yourself.
I was actually surprised at how easy it was. just measure, peel, stick and press (with a basecoat underneath, ofcourse), apply a topcoat and boom! ready to go!

Now, about the wear... I did notice my topoat didn't really stay put and peeled off, so I kept on re-applying. After two, two and a half days my first nail started peeling of. Me being me I ofcourse peeled them all of in an instant (but now I know it removes really easily?).
I think this may have happened because the wraps I chose for my nails were too broad, so I might test that theory next time. I do think I'll only apply a sticker on one (accent) nail though. This is a bit too much for me.
