InstaBlur primer

It happened. I finally got around it and bought a primer. I don't know why it took me so long - I think I just didn't want to spend the money, but when you've got oily skin, a primer crosses your mind often. I read up on them and decided to try out the All-In-One Instablur Universal by The Body Shop.

First thing I have to say when writing this post: Why did I wait so long to buy this? I have oily skin, so my foundation tends to 'slide' off my face. I didn't think a primer would help dramatically in this situation, but now I'm here to tell you differently!

While I was trying out this primer, I decided to apply it only on one side of my face. During this day, I saw a dramatic difference. The primed side stayed somewhat matte - just a little oil peeking through - and the foundation stayed in place. My other side... Well, let's say the amount of foundation had subdued and been replaced by some oilyness.

I am happy I tried it out this way, because when I didn't I wasn't as impressed just because I couldn't actually see the difference. Though I don't have (many) fine lines, my pores are a little big, and I didn't see very much advancement. But now I know how much it makes my makeup cling to my face, I'll keep using it untill the end of times.
